Androscoggin Guide Services specializes in Smallmouth Bass fishing on the Androscoggin River. I also fish on two other major rivers in Maine, the Penobscot and the Kennebec.

The 19 years that I've spent on this river fishing and guiding gives me the experience to make your casting easy and productive. I cover 80+ miles of river with my boat from the New Hampshire boarder to Auburn, Maine; this allows me to accommodate trips lasting an afternoon or up to a week or longer; you will never fish the same body of water twice unless you want to. I also offer fishing for Brook Trout, land-locked Salmon, lake Trout, pike, pickerel, perch, and Large Mouth Bass in 32 area lakes, ponds. We offer off-season activities including snowshoeing, ice fishing, dog sledding, nature hikes, and bird watching adventures.

I enjoy working as a Maine guide and would like to share this river with you and show you some of Maine’s best fishing. I use 16-foot John boat with a small outboard motor. The John boat is extremely maneuverable and versatile. I can float a section of the river like a drift boat turn around, drive back up the river and fish hot zones a second time or the other side of the river. Another plus to using a john boat is that on some sections of the river it eliminates the shuttle which gives you more time fishing the river than in a vehicle riding.

I also guide foliage trips on the river where the scenery is amazing; with water fowl, eagles, otters, moose and deer. The river is lined with numerous varieties of trees and shrubs with many colors.
